Writing Submission 

To submit your writing for review, please send it to erikalamara@elledivine.org.

Elle Divine aims to encourage women to activate their voices. We believe our fellow Beacons of Light help to keep our content fresh and relevant. Therefore, we welcome the opportunity for women to share their unique voices with our readers.

When you place a submission, we will attempt to respond within 1-2 weeks from the date of submission. We will feature your article if we have a slot available, it is relevant to the season of content, and your article content is appropriate for the mission of Elle Divine (refer to “About > Elle Divine” for more details). We accept new blog submissions based on the needs and availability of the website.

How to be featured on Elle Divine:

  1. Please make sure your submission is written with minimal typos and grammatical errors. Use short paragraphs, choose a creative title, and if applicable, include quotes and/or scripture references.
  2. Blog posts should be original, between 450-1200 words, and fall within one of the following categories: Faith, Being a Light, Women, Love, Relationships, Strength, Courage, Identity in Christ, Devotionals, and other general Biblical based topics relevant to the Elle Divine content timeline.
  3. Email your full writing or a previously published link you would like to be featured to erikalamara@elledivine.org. Please also include 2-3 sentences about yourself and a photo to be featured in your bio.
  4. After you submit your writing, we will evaluate it. This evaluation may or may not result in us publishing your submission. If we do wish to publish your article on Elle Divine, we will respond within 1-2 weeks from submission date. Please keep in mind, time may vary based on the amount of entries at the time of your submission.

Terms of Services

By submitting your article, you acknowledge awareness that Elle Divine may have content that could be similar to your submission; in such cases, you release Elle Divine from any liability for its use of this similar content now or in the future. Furthermore, you acknowledge and agree that any submissions that appear on Elle Divine gives Elle Divine equal partnership to the writings. Meaning, we reserve the right to provide edits if necessary to suit the Elle Divine mission and community. Equal partnership will stand as sole permission for Elle Divine to use submissions as an avenue of marketing and sharing the mission of Elle Divine, which is to activate the voices of women, bring light to darkness, and stand as a platform for women to highlight their gift of writing all while maintaining the integrity of Elle Divine for it’s readers. 

Compensation and Benefits

At this time, we are not offering compensation for guest posts published on Elle Divine, but your featured guest post will reach the readers of the Elle Divine community through various platforms (i.e. website and social media platforms). Being featured on these platforms provides exposure to you and potential follower expansion. As well as, an opportunity to further practice activating your voice and being recognized publicly. 

Social Media

We will promote your guest post via social media outlets including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and/or YouTube. While it is not necessary, we do encourage you to post a short teaser on your own blog and/or share on all of your social media outlets and let your readers know that you are being featured on Elle Divine. We also encourage you to check back and respond to comments to keep readers engaged with your work. All avenues of marketing fulfills the sole purpose of Elle Divine to activate the voices of women, bring light to darkness, and stand as a platform for women to highlight their gift of writing all while maintaining the integrity of Elle Divine for it’s readers.
